The Slavic countries in Europe are Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia in central Europe; Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, and Yugoslavia in southern Europe;Belarus and Ukraine in eastern Europe; and Russia, which is located partly in eastern Europe and partly in Asia.
Other students who might associate themselves with this club could be students, having Slavic background (who are second or third, generations living in the U.S.), since these students might share the same culture, language (like Georgia), religion (like Greece and Georgia), etc. with the Slavic students at Knox. Anyone who is interested in finding out more about the culture, traditions, people, and history of the Slavic countries, is encouraged to attend our meetings.
