Eisenhower Dance Ensemble To Perform
on Sept. 28 in Harbach Theater

The Eisenhower Dance Ensemble of Rochester, Michigan will perform six works of modern dance at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 in Harbach Theater, Ford Center for Fine Arts, Knox College. The performance is free and open to the public.

Laurie Eisenhower, professor of dance at Oakland University, is the artistic director for the seven-member troupe, which was founded in 1991. She received both her BA and MFA degrees from Arizona State University.

The performance is sponsored by Knox College Union Board, Terpsichore Dance Collective and the Department of Theater and Dance.

Founded in 1837, Knox is an independent, four-year, liberal arts college, located in Galesburg, Illinois, with 1,100 students from 42 states and 33 nations. Knox's "Old Main," a National Historic Landmark, is the only building remaining from the 1858 Lincoln-Douglas debates.
