To the Knox Community:
On Wednesday, September 11, 2002 at 9:29 a.m., the time the second tower at the World Trade Center collapsed, we will ring the Old Main bell for one minute and lower the American flag on the north lawn of Old Main to half mast while the bell rings. All members of the Knox community are urged to halt their normal activities for a moment of silence. At the beginning of Opening Convocation on September 12, we will observe a moment of silence for the victims of September 11.
