GALESBURG -- Clifford Kiracofe, professor of history at Virginia Military Institute, will give a lecture, "U.S. Policy on Iraq," at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 14, in Ferris Lounge, Seymour Union, Knox College, Galesburg, Illinois. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Kiracofe has worked for the U.S. Senate as a Legislative Assistant, was a Senior Professional Staff Member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and has been a Research Associate at the Institute for Foreign Policy Analysis
The lecture is sponsored by the Knox College Center for Global Studies.
Founded in 1837, Knox is a national liberal arts college in Galesburg, Illinois, with students from 48 states and 40 nations. Knox's "Old Main" is a National Historic Landmark and the only building remaining from the 1858 Lincoln-Douglas debates.
