GALESBURG -- Installation of Roger L. Taylor as 18th President of Knox College will highlight this year's Homecoming Weekend festivities, Oct. 11-12, on the Knox campus in Galesburg, Illinois.
Taylor, a 1963 Knox graduate, will be formally installed at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 11, on the South Lawn of Knox's historic Old Main. Following the installation ceremony, Taylor has invited students, alumni and visitors to a free campus festival that will include a picnic, student performances and an "Open Mic" talent show. A Friday all-campus festival will continue to be a part of Knox Homecoming in future years.
