GALESBURG -- "Managing Eden," an exhibit of photographs by Joann Brennan will be on display from Sept. 13 through Oct. 11 in the Gallery, Ford Center for the Fine Arts on the Knox College campus in Galesburg, Illinois. Brennan will discuss her work at 4 p.m., Friday, Sept. 20, followed by an opening reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
Brennan, who uses photography to explore the relationships between people and nature, is Assistant Professor and Area Head of Photography at the University of Colorado at Denver. She has taught at Princeton University and State University of New York at Alfred. Brennan has given presentations at Knox College, the Society for Photographic Education, and the Colorado chapter of the American Society of Media Photographers. She has exhibited at Allegheny College, Metropolitan State College of Denver, and New Mexico State University, where she earned a master of fine arts degree.
