Knox Jazz Ensemble to Perform Oct. 26

The Knox College Jazz Ensemble, directed by Scott Garlock, Associate Professor of Music, will perform at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26, in Kresge Hall, Ford Center for the Fine Arts, on the Knox campus in Galesburg, Illinois. The concert, featuring contemporary and standard jazz selections, is free and open to the public.

The Knox Jazz Ensemble has won "superior" ratings at the University of Kansas Jazz Festival and eight consecutive "Top College Big Band Awards" at the Western Illinois University Jazz Festival. The group also has been featured at the annual conference of the Illinois Music Educator's Association.
