Mannino Named Annual Fund Director

"Molly Mannino brings a wealth of fundraising experience and a proven track record of success to her new position," said Brian Williams, Vice President for Advancement. "We are delighted that Molly has agreed to lead this very important effort."

Since coming to Knox in 1996, Mannino has been a Senior Advancement Officer and Director of Individual Gift Stewardship. Previously she was director of planned giving at Monmouth College in Illinois, a resource developer at the Western Illinois Area Agency on Aging, and an elementary and junior high school teacher.

A graduate of St. Mary's College in Indiana, Mannino is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), accredited by the National Society of Fund Raising Executives (NSFRE). She has given presentations at NSFRE conferences and is a member of the Quad Cities Chapter of NSFRE. Mannino has served on the board of the Girl Scouts of the Mississippi Valley, Galesburg Sunrise Rotary, Galesburg Civic Art Center, Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Council and Northwest Area Cursillo.

The Knox College Annual Fund comprises more than $2.8-million annually in gifts to Knox from alumni, parents and friends of the College.

Founded in 1837, Knox is an independent, four-year, liberal arts college in Galesburg, Illinois, with 1,220 students from 47 states and 41 nations. Knox's "Old Main" is a National Historic Landmark and the only building remaining from the 1858 Lincoln-Douglas debates.
