Rachel Hall Fiction Reading

Author Rachel Hall will read from her own works at 4 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, in the Common Room, Old Main, Knox College, Galesburg, Illinois.

Hall has published fiction is a number of journals and literary magazines, including Black Warrior Review and Crab Orchard Review. Hall's short story "All the News That's Fit to Print" was nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and she's been awarded numerous writing fellowships. A graduate of Knox College, Hall teaches English at State University of New York at Geneseo.

Founded in 1837, Knox is an independent, four-year, liberal arts college in Galesburg, Illinois, with 1,220 students from 47 states and 41 nations. Knox's "Old Main" is a National Historic Landmark and the only building remaining from the 1858 Lincoln-Douglas debates.
