2-4, Thursday-Saturday 6:30 p.m. Seymour Union Madrigal Dinners: A Renaissance feast and royal pageant, featuring authentic 16th-Century songs, dances and entertainment. Presented by Collegium Musicum, directed by Laura Lane, Assistant Professor of Music. Tickets are $14 from the Main Desk of Seymour Union. Deadline May 1.

Rededication of Seymour Library 4 Saturday 2 p.m. Seymour Library Rededication Ceremony marking the completion of a four-year, $2.6-million renovation of Knox's Henry M. Seymour Library. Featured speaker: Russell H. Bostert, 1941 Knox graduate and Stanfield Professor of History at Williams College.

8 Wednesday - 11 Saturday 8 p.m. Harbach Theatre, CFA Theatre: Cinders, by Janusz Glowacki. A drama depicting life in a girls' reform school. Directed by Elizabeth Jahnke, Visiting Instructor in Theatre.

9 Thursday 7:30 p.m. Round Room, CFA Lecture: Dan Gustin, Associate Professor of Painting and Drawing at the Art Institute of Chicago, will discuss his work.

10 Friday 4 p.m. Lobby, CFA Opening Reception and Awards Presentation: Al Young Show. Dan Gustin,of the Art Institute of Chicago, will judge two-dimensional art works in this year's annual student art exhibition and competition. Three-dimensional work will be judged by ceramic artist Eva Kwong. Works on display through May 24.

Ardizzoni also will announce winners of Davenport Fiction Awards.

17 Friday Alumni Career Panels: Knox alumni discuss their careers in education (3 p.m. in the Common Room, OM); theater (4 p.m. in the Round Room, CFA) and physics (4 p.m. in Founders Lounge, Seymour Union).

17 Friday 7:30 p.m. Kresge Hall, CFA Concert: Knox College Choir, directed by Laura Lane, Assistant Professor of Music, will perform works by Mozart, a cappella jazz pieces, and a medley of selections from West Side Story.

18 Saturday 8 p.m. Harbach, CFA Concert: Two Chicago-based progressive rock bands -- Frigid Air Records group "Odd Man Out" and "Maybe/Definitely." Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance at the Main Desk in Seymour Union. High school and college students are free with school identification card.

19 Sunday 7 p.m. Kresge Hall, CFA Lecture: "The Legacy of Malcolm X." Michael Williams, author of Pan-Africanism and Zionism; Political Movements in Polarity, and Director of the African American Studies Program at Simmons College.
