15 Saturday 10:30 a.m. Memorial Gym Groundbreaking ceremony for new Knox College Athletic Fieldhouse (later named Fleming Fieldhouse), a 48,000 square-foot addition to the College's Memorial Gymnasium. Plans include an indoor track and multi-purpose playing courts.

22 Saturday 8 p.m. Kresge, CFA Concert: The Nova Singers, directed by Laura Lane, Assistant Professor of Music at Knox College, open their fifth anniversary season with "Encore"-- selections of audience favorites from the past four years.
