Teaching and Learning Forum: Excellent bi-monthly teaching newsletter
to which Knox has an on-line subscription. To access issues, go to the
website and click on "current issues" in the middle of the page; we
have access to issues going back a year or two.
- NITLE The National Institute for Technology and Liberal Education. Knox is a member of this collaborative endeavor. More information on the Technology page.
- Associated Colleges
of the Midwest (ACM) Knox is one of 13 members of this consortium
of liberal arts colleges. It offers a variety of faculty development
opportunities, through its off-campus programs and a variety of conferences.
- Great Lakes College
Association (GLCA) A consortium like the ACM, consisting of 12 schools
in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana.
- Tomorrow's Professor An e-mail list run by Richard
Reis of Stanford University with bi-weekly postings of essays and excerpts
on a variety of issues in higher education.
- Midwest Faculty
Seminars Weekend seminars held at the University of Chicago, open
to faculty at colleges in the midwest.
- Club Quarters A great place to stay in Chicago and elsewhere; discounted weekend rates for Knox faculty and staff.
